An Ottawa woman is donated to the wishes of the brides in Kenya by providing wedding dresses, to give the campaign.
Carol Waters, a volunteer with Project Hope in Africa to learn, young women to sew and make money. She had donated to the idea of wedding dresses, worn around the slums of Nairobi Marthar when the last look through the wedding album of a student.
Waters asked his students if they always wore white, married, but I was told that only the rich can usually afford.
"I had the idea that, even if you are poor and live in a neighborhood, a cheap wedding dress, that one day might have felt very special," said Waters.
There's more to plan the big day even more special. Waters hopes for a sustainable business plan for the recipients of donated clothing has costume for the wives of the other to create rent by about $ 5 per day.
"The girls were able to earn money, I teach them to wash, could be changed to false hemming them and perhaps give 10 girls on a Saturday, a special day in your life," he said.
Water always seeks more clothes to take with her when she goes to Kenya in mid-January.
