Vera Wang, the designer best known for her stunning wedding dresses creations, is undergoing a rite of passage of her own: she's selling her lavish Park Avenue apartment.
The two-storey 'townhome', which was owned by her late father until 2007, has been put on the market for a cool $25million.
The price tag not only reflects the apartment's sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline and impressive amount of space, but also the star power of the co-op's residents.
Over the years, 740 Park Avenue has been home to high-profile figures of New York's elite such as Jackie Kennedy Onassis, the Rockefeller and Vanderbilt families and Steve and Courtney Ross.
Ms Wang's duplex is one of 32 apartments in the 'white-gloved' 19-story high-rise, which was built in the Thirties.
It features a marble finished gallery and a vast living room that looks south towards Downtown Manhattan.
All four bedrooms are on a separate floor complete with bathrooms and an extra staff room and half bath.
The minimal yet classic style in which the apartment is decorated is typical of Ms Wang, who is probably the world's best-known bridal designer.
